I’ve been in my current assignment since August 2016. Previously I worked at BYU-Idaho from 2002-2016, the last seven as Vice President of University Resources. From 1999-2002 I was the Acting Vice President for Finance and Administration and Assistant Vice President of Facilities Management at Minnesota State University, Mankato. From 1994-1999 I was the Facilities Management Director for Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona. My first job after graduating from Brigham Young University in 1991 was with Amoco Corporation in Tulsa Oklahoma as a Specialist in Building Operations focusing on contracted facility services, project management, disaster recovery planning and environmental, health and safety. I’ve served in numerous Church callings including full-time missionary to the Honduras, Tegucigalpa, nursery teacher, sunday school teacher, elder’s quorum presidencies, ward and stake young men’s presidencies, stake missionary, high councilor, scoutmaster, varsity scout leader, bishopric counselor, a bishop, stake president and I currently serves as the Scoutmaster. I am married to Kerri Lyday. We have of six children, five boys and one girl. Three are married. We have four grandchildren and want more.
